eaZYX-POP -
solve your imaging needs fast

What is it? eaZYX-POP is an image segmentation script created by our
imaging expert in less than four weeks.
It will allow you to drastically reduce ‘hands-on time’
while evaluating image data sets, video-based ot time lapse video data. It provides you with convincing image segmentation
data to write manuscripts, illustrate posters and presentation or to
support grant applications.
How to use it? Send us a sample set of a few B/W (jpeg,
tiff) or color images (tiff) or video (Quicktime,
mpeg, avi) by email or on CD-ROM. Provide some explanation on the biology and
the information you want to be extracted and quantified.
What do we
do? Using your sample
image/video set in eaZYX-IMAGING, we will develop a script that identifies the
desired object(s) in the image for quantification. This takes on average two days to two weeks,
depending on workload and on the complexity of the biological problem.
When eaZYX-IMAGING can solve your imaging problem, we will send
you the image analysis result to allow you to evaluate and approve.
What is your
product? An eaZYX POP will
deliver scripts that translate and reduce image or video content into
publication-ready image segmentation result.
Included in the POP is the batch analysis of 50 more images with the
script. The POP script will remain
available on our servers for you for e.g. image analysis services. Please inquire for special conditions if you
are willing to create visibility for our product through posters,
presentations, manuscripts.
In case we should fail to extract the desired object(s) from
images, you are entitled to another POP for free.

What is it? When you have a recurrent image analysis
need, such as in high throughput screening, cell-based assays, gene function
screens or histopathology, we will develop for you an image analysis
application that fits your assay analysis needs.
The script(s) we develop will be embedded in an application that
comprises on-image proofing tools, descriptive statistics for the objects
identified in the images and their derived parameters.
The data output comes in a format that can integrate seamlessly
into your high-end drug activity, biostatistics or bioinformatics
environment.
When needed, we can implement and follow up the procedure to
deliver the algorithm GLP approved.
How to use
it? Send us a sample set of
50 – 100 image (B/W: jpeg, tiff: colour: tiff; video:
Quicktime, mpeg, avi) by
email or on CD-ROM. Make sure it truly
reflects the variability of conditions that was observed while optimizing an
assay (controls, references, some experimental compounds or genes, outliers,
perfect and suboptimal images, from great and poor experiments).
What do we
do? As we build the scripts,
optimize and finalize the application or solution, we will consult you to
refine the application so that it reflects your interpretation of the biology
in the images. The pre-final and final product will be tested with a data set
preferentially created in true (HTS) assay conditions.
The development will routinely take 1 to 2 months depending on
our work load and complexity of the biology.
What is your
product?

An eaZYX APPLICATION will automate from ‘image batch to database
ready result’. We will keep the
application available on our servers for you and it will be available for image
analysis services. When you own or purchase
an eaZYX-iBOX for on site image analysis or a MIAS-2
reader, the developed applications and solutions will be installed. Included in the application development
service is the batch analysis of 1000 more images.

An eaZYX SOLUTION combines all the features of an eaZYX
APPLICATION plus ‘plate stack to database-ready result’ level automation with
MIAS-2 microscopy readers. It will support the analysis of images acquired with
different microscopy modes of the system, thus allowing for application in a
wide range of biological assays.

analysis on our servers. Send the image
collections to us and we will run the analysis and return the result to you in
no time.
This is the fastest and most flexible way to get your image
content translated into numbers that fit your genomics, drug discovery or
bioinformatics data base.
How to use
it? Send us image sets (B/W:
jpeg, tiff: color: tiff; video: Quicktime, mpeg, avi on Tape/CD/DVD) and indicate the application that will
be used. The rest follows automatically
over the next few days: we will analyze the image collection as desired.
What is your
product? We will send a CD/DVD
with the captured and derived images, images reflecting the result and result
tables.

What is it? Access the advanced image capture features of
MIAS-2 for your (transportable) samples and cut 50 to 90% of the hands-on time
at the microscope. Or access MIAS-2
sensitivity to save on assay cost or time.
How to use
it? Contact us regarding the
number and type of specimens you want to capture images from and tell us what
you want to have captured and what result you want us to produce for you. We’ll provide you a quote based on our
hands-on time, capture time on the equipment and the volume of the data output
you want to receive for evaluation. Then
send us your objects numbered (sealed plates, tissue sections …) with an
indication of what microscopic modes and size images you want to capture and
what you want to review.
What do we
do? We will capture images
from the specimen and will produce the desired image outputs, such as: original
images of all modes captured, pseudo color overlays of multimode acquisitions,
image tiles from sections or wells and/or mosaic overviews of plates.
What is your
